Kindergarten students were able to use clay for the very first time in the art room last week. It was a very exciting day. They should be able to tell you what CLAY is made out of, what a SLAB is and looks like, what the KILN is, and how much FUN clay is to work with.
Here is an illustrated step-by-step tutorial of the process students went through to make their "clay fish dish". Currently, their fish are in the kiln being fired. We will see all of the changes their clay projects went through this week when they come out and are ready to be painted.
