Even though we thought summer was back this week, it is definitely autumn. One sure way to tell is that pumpkins are EVERYWHERE. ...as well as pumpkin-flavored everything. Yummy. First graders made these mixed media pumpkin patches using paint, cut paper, and oil crayons. We put the paint straight on the paper from the bottle and talked about how sometimes artists mix colors right on their canvas.
