It has been a while since I have posted an update on our busy as bees third grade students. Sometimes it can be difficult to take all of the photos for this blog. Better late than never however!

Most recently, students worked on completing these tropical bird watercolor paintings where we focused on the difference between foreground and background (as things move further away they become less detailed - in this example, using dabs of yellow, green, and blue paint to represent the sun, leaves, and sky in the distance).

Aren't they so bright and beautiful? Makes me think of summer already...
