Third grade students studied Robert Indiana's iconic "LOVE" sculpture. We learned about his childhood inspiration for the colors, typography/fonts, the importance of the tilted "O", and used some of our new knowledge about color from this year including tints, shades, warm colors, cool colors, and complementary colors.
