During elementary conferences from 5:00 - 8:00pm on Thursday, November 8th we will be holding the "plates and bowls" fundraiser in the Art Room. The cost is $8.50 per bowl (or plate). Mrs. Hall and I held this event last year and it was a great way to meet with parents and raise some extra funds for our classroom (it allowed us to buy some much needed clay). It is a very simple process: students draw a picture with marker on a small or large circle paper (depending on if you want a bowl or plate) and I send the finished pictures to the company who then turns the drawing into a dish of your choice (made in the USA, BPA-free, and dishwasher safe). They are great keepsakes that you can eat off of forever or to give as meaningful gifts for the holidays. I hope to see you next Thursday!
