Line Variety, Grandma Moses, and Folk Art (3rd grade)

Third graders created these colorful landscape drawings utilizing their knowledge of line variety. These pieces were inspired by renowned American folk artist "Grandma Moses". The artist painted pictures of her every day life on the farm as well as the lives of those around her. Students really enjoyed taking a closer look at Grandma Moses' work and it is good to know that age is no matter when it comes to art making.
